Well... Hmmm....

So, for the first year in... I'm not really sure how many... I didn't get an artist alley table for Anime North. They sold out, and filled up their waiting list before they got my email. The alley reservations started at 8pm yesterday, and since I was going to be out, my friend Margaret sent in my email. The message in her outbox says it was sent at 8:00 exactly. The returned message saying the alley and waiting list is full says they received the message at 8:59. Stupid internet.

So what does this mean? I'm still waiting to hear if I'm going to be able to get a table in the dealer's room. It's what I really wanted, but no one responded to my emails. Now the website says that the dealer's room is full. But I emailed Donald Simmons, the con chair, and reminded him how last year when the same thing happened (no response to emails) he promised they'd do something for me this year. He says he's looking into it.

I have hopes. If I don't get in, it's going to depend on how well I do at Anime Boston if I can afford to go to Anime North. Grumble. I hate when things are up in the air.
